An evening with Soft Skull Press founder Sander Hicks and some of the writers, rockers, and revolutionaries he published in the 90's, the early years of Soft Skull Press.

Anti-folk from Roger Manning, enlightened and wry poems from Sparrow, and east village radical artist Seth Tobocman, does a live slide show "comix concert" backed up by his band. Newer Soft Skull writers (like Sheila McClear) and other special guests will also take the stage.

The night ends with a set from White Collar Crime, Sander Hicks' re-united art punk ensemble. fgfgdfgedfdgd
When he called for revolution – at the time he was spinning from a ceiling fan - the band clicked immediately into tight punk cabaret and a friend turned to me and said, "this is the best band ever."My neck was shivering and I was ready to storm the White House. WCC are the real thing." —Brandon Stousy, Prose Acts "

PLUS! Just added! Soft Skull author and old school Times Square memoirist,
Sheila McClear, author of "Last of the Live Nude Girls."

"The changes that pushed most of the peepshows out of Times Square were started by the political programs and motivations of the unlovable mayor Giuliani."
