Portable Bookcase

I built this for a grad student who has lots of books, but plans to move around a bit. The entire piece breaks down into a portable set of seven simple pieces.
The case expands to cover 25 square feet.

Dec/09:
Completed 11 big work tables for Bronx's Green Career Center, at the Osborne Association. Solidly constructed with union-made, salvaged doors out of the famous Plaza Hotel.

Big Savings for the client here: these doors were priced at $55 per in the salvage yard, but they like me: I got 11 doors for $15 each. I saved the client $443, a 73% discount. I can get $605 worth of materials for $165!

The Liebman-Smith Loft

"Not only is Sander's work sturdy and functional, he really thinks about design in order to fashion a beautiful piece that fits with the given space."

–Rebecca Liebman-Smith

"Sander built a loft for me in my bedroom and did a fantastic job. He was very pleasant to work with, listening to my needs and concerns in order to figure out exactly what I wanted. He worked extremely quickly and efficiently. You will not find someone who can give you such a high level of craftsmanship for cheaper."

–Rebecca Liebman-Smith

"I have had Sander help me on numerous projects around my home. He's a careful carpenter who takes great pride in his work. He thinks a lot about saving time and money for the people he works with and is a real mensch."

-Michael Galinsky
