DC's Capitol
Hill Blue the oldest
surviving news site on the Internet
has published a story titled "George Bush
on the edge." Veteran newspaperman Doug Thompson
says worried White House aides paint a portrait
of paranoid President who fears the public
no longer trusts him on Iraq.
According to one unamed
GOP consultant, the Commander in Chief's paranoia
is reminiscent of Nixon's. According to inside
sources, Bush spends more time plotting against
John Kerry than he does on Al KAYduh, while
compiling an ever-growing enemies list.
According to an aide,
John Ashcroft and Bush believe that they act
at "Gods command" and that God justifies
any actions they take. As a result, Ashcroft
has been drawn increasingly closer to Bush.
But one aspect of Bushs
rule seems to contradict Biblical morality.
The President curses a blue streak, and calls
those disloyal to his policies expletives
too graphic for television. Some White House
staffers report they are looking for new employment.
